Apply with a 60–65 minute set: we want to hear your technique and see the energy you bring.
Video and framing
Your DJ set must run 60 to 65 minutes and be filmed in 16:9. A smartphone is fine: choose your home, bedroom, studio or any location you like. The frame must show the whole DJ and the entire console. Use enough light, a steady image and sharp footage that bring out your technique and personality.
We assess both the quality of the mix as pure audio (for example on Spotify or other music platforms) and your on-camera presence and ability to bring enthusiasm to viewers on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
Do not upload the video in the form: a one-hour set can weigh several GB. Upload the file to Google Drive or SwissTransfer and paste a working download link in the next field. Recommended format: MP4 (H.264/AAC); MOV, M4V, MKV and AVI are also fine. 1080p is recommended, 4K is accepted. In Google Drive set “Anyone with the link” as Viewer. On SwissTransfer you can send up to 50 GB and choose a maximum availability of 30 days: select the maximum duration. Test the link in a private window and keep it active for 30 days. If you add a password, send it separately to music@womendj.com with your first and last name. Public links can be opened by anyone who gets them: do not include personal content.
Audio, tracklist and proof of purchase
The audio must be recorded directly from the console or mixer output: footage with room audio only is rejected.
Enter the full tracklist in playing order, with artist and title of every track, and attach the matching purchase receipts from Beatport or other online stores. Without a complete tracklist and receipts the application is rejected because of the risk of copyright infringement.
Buying the tracks does not automatically grant publishing or streaming rights: any publication will be assessed separately and will require the necessary authorisations.
Image, brands and evaluation
The footage must show you at your best: choose simple, clean clothing. No registered trademark logos may appear on T-shirts, stickers or other objects. Pioneer brands and the brands of the console, mixer, speakers and headphones are allowed.
After your email address is verified, your application is reviewed by the team. We will contact you by email within 7 days. Publication is not automatic: every DJ set is reviewed and any selection will be communicated to you personally. If selected, you may receive access to a private area of the site.
